Partner Toolkit at the heart of Scottish Road Safety Week

21 March 2022

Scotland’s first Road Safety Week aimed to encourage the nation’s road users to take greater personal responsibility for their safety.

Organised by the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland, the initiative is part of the Road Safety Framework to 2030 – which sets out a vision for Scotland to have the best road safety performance in the world by 2030. The framework also includes an ambitious long term goal where no one is seriously injured or killed on the country’s roads by 2050.

Scotland’s Road Safety Week (21-27 March) is seen as a chance to ‘unite and focus our energies’ to support partners to come together to encourage road users to take greater personal responsibility for their safety.

Central to the week is a toolkit of campaign assets, including a pledge poster, social media posts and an example press release.
