Prince Michael International Awards recognise Technology in the Safe System
AI&Me and Geotab both recognised for their use of technology by Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards this year.
- AI&Me from Vietnam empowers youth to identify dangerous locations through an intuitive digital risk-perception tool which leverages the power of Big Data to support governments in focusing life-saving road infrastructure upgrades where young people have indicated they need it most.
- The project delivered by the AIP Foundation in partnership with iRAP has developed a framework to assess school safety. By using a Youth Engagement App and leveraging big data, the project starts calculating macro-calculates risk to identify the locations of schools. Each then undergoes a detailed infrastructure assessment of the surrounding area by using the former award-winning Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) tool.
- Geotab’s strategic aim is to redefine fleet safety through innovative technology, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management. The primary aim of Geotab’s telematics solutions is to improve road safety and fleet efficiency.
- This foundation fosters a strong safety culture among drivers and managers. Geotab’s holistic approach to road safety has transformed the landscape of fleet management, emphasising operational efficiency and driver well-being. Through innovative solutions and predictive analytics, Geotab has made significant strides in enhancing driver safety across diverse industries.
