The Institute of Health Promotion and Education releases a new position statement on road safety
The Institute of Health Promotion and Education (IHPE) has released a new position statement on road safety , addressing critical issues such as Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) to better support young drivers, and the need for stronger political commitment to reduce road fatalities.
Amongst other key areas, the statement calls for comprehensive national road safety plans and the adoption of a Safe System Approach to reduce road traffic deaths and injuries globally.
