31 January 2024

The Driving for Better Business Let’s Talk Fleet Risk Podcast talks to Kate Walker, Managing Director of The Diabetes Safety Organisation

A staggering 7% of the population have diabetes. 700 people are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the UK every day, and there are currently 4.6 million people with diabetes of which 1 million do not know they have the condition.

  • The hidden epidemic that is diabetes
  • When is diabetes a DVLA notifiable condition?
  • The potential consequences of a typical ‘on the road’ diet
  • Enabling conversations with employees around driving with diabetes
  • Good practice for managing diabetes risk and resources to help.
