A staggering 7% of the population have diabetes. 700 people are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the UK every day, and there are currently 4.6 million people with diabetes of which 1 million do not know they have the condition.
Diabetes is an invisible condition posing often unrecognised health and safety risks to companies. What if one of your drivers had a ‘hypo’ while on the road? They could black out or act as if drunk. Listen to the podcast to hear about:
