United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) win Royal Award

UKRO receives a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award as they continue to improve post crash rescue standards.

For over 30 years, the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) has led innovation in professional rescue and post-crash response globally. Run by passionate practitioners from the Fire and Rescue and Medical sectors, UKRO ensures that professionals can adapt to emerging risks. Through partnerships with organisations like the World Rescue Organisation (WRO), UKRO develops standards, provides training, and conducts research, aligning with the Decade of Action.

In addition to its national Learning Academy for emergency service personnel, its International Development Programme has delivered post-crash response education and training across the world.
