Business benefits of Benchmarking

12 October 2016

Benchmarking is a highly effective way of improving work-related road safety, identifying good practices and generating cost saving opportunities. It also supports compliance with legal requirements and standards and above all it improves efficiency.

The freely available and longstanding benchmarking tool, to date used by over 1,400 organisations, has been fully revised and updated to include a detailed 30 question gap analysis and collision outcomes KPIs. Despite this, since its launch fewer than 80 companies have taken the trouble to try it.

It takes twenty minutes and provides, so why not give it a go?

Fleet News reported on the 12 organisations most active in a fleet safety gap analysis programme, representing 170,000 drivers and 80,000 vehicles, which have saved more than £11 million in direct cost reductions over three years.
