PACTS Conference: Improving safety on UK major roads

The PACTS conference Improving safety on the UK’s major roads will be held on Tuesday 30th March, 11.00-15.00.

The conference will cover the UK’s strategic road networks and local authority main roads outside urban areas. It will also address the wider policy environment, such as improving air quality and decarbonation, and explore possible overlaps, synergies and tensions with safety.

It is supported by the Department for Transport and Highways England. There will also be speakers from Transport Scotland, the Welsh Government, local government and the private and voluntary sectors.

The programme is now available and bookings are open. There is no charge to attend, but places may be limited.
