'Joining the Dots' National Analysts' Conference 2020

The Road Safety GB 'Joining the Dots' National Analysts' Conference will return again in 2020 for the 5th year running. 

This year, deciding the format and content has been as a team effort involving by the recently formed RSGB Champions Network. The event, attended by over 60 organisations in 2019, is the only national event for the Road Safety Analysis Community.

It is expected to welcome 150 delegates at the purpose built venue with the return of interactive breakout sessions and demonstrations. Ian Knowles, Head of Statistics at the Department for Transport will be the as Keynote Speaker and will introduce the new DfT Transport Data Strategy. Presenters already confirmed also include Paul Coward, Head of Data and Insight at RAC breakdown, with further announcement in the coming weeks.

Jeremy Phillips Research Director at RSGB said the Champions Network are an, "outstanding group of individuals helping the profession make real progress in a niche area of work which has a fundamental role in supporting all road safety activity" ,

He also said, "Our ambition for these conferences remains one of influencing and supporting the work of both data client and data analyst - and I’m confident each will find a great deal of value on the 2020 agenda".
