RoadPeace Challenge 2024: 1766 Miles Together

20 March 2024

Emergency services, safer roads partnerships, schools, businesses and communities will be running, cycling, walking or horse riding 1766 miles in May to raise awareness about the staggering number of people killed in crashes on the UK’s roads.

The UK-wide event – called the RoadPeace Challenge 2024 – will take place between May 13-19, 2024 to raise money for RoadPeace, the national charity for road crash victims, and awareness about the invaluable support it provides to bereaved people.

Now in its fourth year, the RoadPeace Challenge has already raised more than £140,000 for RoadPeace, as well as considerable public awareness about road harm.

Due to the event’s success, the RoadPeace Challenge has the full backing of the National Police Chiefs’ Council and the National Fire Chiefs’ Council, and now features on the National Roads Partnership Operations Calendar 2024 – 2025.
