Royal Award for UN Road Safety Fund

A Prince Michael Award for The UN Road Safety Fund which supports global efforts in addressing road traffic deaths and injuries worldwide. It aims to mobilize financing, coordinate expertise, and channel effective road safety measures and interventions to low-and-middle income countries.

The Award was given to the Fund in recognition of the growing impact of its 44 projects operating in 88 low and middle-income countries across five regions.

 By 2025, the Fund plans to ensure that up to 90 countries can access, and benefit from, joint technical assistance that fills critical gaps in their national road safety system, making their road safety systems stronger.
