Post-crash response

Increased responsiveness to post-crash emergencies and improvements in the ability of health and other systems to provide appropriate emergency treatment and longer term rehabilitation for crash victims is also an important contribution to the Safe System. 

With improved vehicle safety and road design the number of deaths is likely to reduce but the long-term care of injured victims is an important social and public health consideration.
