Toolkit for NGOs and othr advocates
We highly recommend the Alliance Accountability Toolkit which prioritizes a set of interventions that have been proven to be among the most effective in reducing road deaths and injuries.
These five priority interventions have been prioritized because:
- They are proven to be among the most effective in reducing road deaths and injuries;
- They have a common focus on protecting pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists, and addressing speed which research has found reduces the most number of road deaths (Vecino-ortiz et al., 2022);
- They have been identified by Alliance member NGOs as priorities for their countries;
- They build on recent advocacy efforts through the Streets for Life #Love30 campaign.
Using the Accountability Toolkit, you will play your part in reducing road deaths and injuries, contributing to SDG 3.6 and the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030. You will also help make our world safer, cleaner, more livable, more equitable, and more sustainable.
The toolkit comes from The Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety .
