Highway Code Changes - Campaign
Following changes to UK The Highway Code that came into effect on 29 January, THINK! has launched a campaign to shift attitudes and encourage safer driving behaviours among road users across Great Britain.
There are record numbers of people taking up cycling and The Highway Code needs to keep pace with how people are using the roads.
The campaign is being delivered in partnership with Transport for London, and the Scottish and Welsh Governments and will run across radio and social media channels.
The campaign will consist of two phases – the first phase in February will raise awareness of changes to The Highway Code and the second phase in May/June will seek to embed the changes and drive behaviour change.
A communications working group has been formed to involve a broad range of stakeholders in the campaign development and ensure communications are fit for purpose.
