CGGVeritas sets standard

7 May 2009

Since January 2007 CCGVeritas has ensured that all company vehicles have Electronic Stability Control (ESC) fitted as standard. This standard has also been applied to its grey fleet vehicles, which will all be expected to have this technology by the beginning of next year.

Peter Young, the facilities manager, has long been convinced by the benefits of ESC after experiencing its capabilities first hand. He considers the safety device to be so effective that he describes it as being able to turn a potentially serious incident into a “non- event”.

CGGVeritas approaches its forty-strong ‘grey fleet’ in the same way that it manages its company vehicles, using the Lotus Notes Management System and applying the same standards of safety. For more information see their case study or visit their website www.cggveritas.com.
