Brake: International Speed Conference 2014

28 February 2014

The Speed Congress is an essential event for all road safety professionals. Organised by Brake, it is a not-for-profit congress that brings together leading academics and practitioners from around the world to discuss reducing speeds to save lives, and separating vulnerable road users from fast traffic.

Speed is a factor in a large proportion of crashes worldwide, killing and seriously injuring tens of thousands of people every year. The congress will present latest research, initiatives, evaluation and policy thinking in reducing speed and provide a forum for road safety professionals to network on this critical issue.
